Council has been made aware that people in the community have received calls from people claiming to be representing NBN, indicating they will be installing NBN over the weekend and requiring access to people’s computer.
These are scam calls.
NBN or ServiceStream will not be requiring access to anyone’s computer nor will be seeking any forms of payment during the build of the Fibre to the Premise in Quilpie. The physical build is expected to commence mid-September 2023.
