The Queensland Government is introducing a ban on the supply of single-use lightweight plastic shopping bags. This ban will take effect on 1 July 2018. View the plastic bag ban fact sheet here

Quilpie residents are advised that Council are currently working to replace ageing and deteriorating water mains. This water main replacement program will assist in reducing the number of service interruptions experienced by consumers and will increase water pressure and equalise flow rates.
