Council advises that rate notices for the period 1 July 2023 to 31 December 2023 were issued to ratepayers on 30 August 2023.
Rates are due 5.00pm Friday 29 September 2023
To ensure you don’t miss the discount, please consider BPay and EFT payment clearance timeframes. Rates notices were posted to ratepayers at their last known address. It is the responsibility of the property owner to advise Council of any change of address. Ratepayers who do not receive a rate notice are encouraged to contact Council to receive a copy.
Please note that rates notices can now be emailed. If you would like to receive your rates notice via email you can register for e-Rates at https://quilpie.qld.gov.au/register-for-erates/
If you are experiencing financial difficulty and cannot pay the rates in full by the due date, you can apply to Council to enter into a payment arrangement to pay rates in smaller, regular payments.

Telstra is performing maintenance on its network around QUILPIE with work to take place over 10 days commencing 3 April 2023. Mobile service may be impacted at various times during this period.

Service Stream crews will be on the ground in Quilpie week beginning 20 March ’23 performing scoping tasks. This will involve taking photos of the houses/business so that we can ensure we don’t miss any addresses when undertaking our design. We may require access to Multi Dwelling Units (MDU’s) or complex buildings that may have more than one connection, these premises should receive a notice advising as such.
