Further to my last community letter of 30 August 2023, I am pleased to provide an update on the provision of medical services in the Quilpie community and what South West Hospital and Health Service is doing to address and maintain services.

We’re evolving our mobile network to ensure you always have the best possible experience. This means that on 30 June 2024, we’re switching off our 3G network. Our 4G and 5G networks will be available instead and offer an improved experience.

A big thank you to APA for helping fund our Comedy Night Round 2.
It wouldn’t have been such a successful night without the generous funding we received from APA through their East Coast Grid Expansion Project Community Grants Round 2.
This funding enabled us to provide a free night of laughter with two stand up comedians, live music, a two course dinner and supervised movies for the young.
