Dear Community Member
Further to my last community letter of 30 August 2023, I am pleased to provide an update on the provision of medical services in the Quilpie community and what South West Hospital and Health Service is doing to address and maintain services.
Telstra is performing maintenance on its network around QUILPIE with work to take place over 10 days commencing 3 April 2023. Mobile service may be impacted at various times during this period.

Service Stream crews will be on the ground in Quilpie week beginning 20 March ’23 performing scoping tasks. This will involve taking photos of the houses/business so that we can ensure we don’t miss any addresses when undertaking our design. We may require access to Multi Dwelling Units (MDU’s) or complex buildings that may have more than one connection, these premises should receive a notice advising as such.
