Notice is hereby given that the undermentioned roads will be closed to all vehicular traffic between 5.00pm and 12.00am on Tuesday 29th August 2023 for the Kangaranga-Do Street Party.
Date and times of the closure to traffic are as follows:
Date of closure: Tuesday 29th August 2023
Time of closure: 5.00pm to 12.00am
Name of road: Diamantina Developmental Road
(Brolga Street) from Gyrica Street to Chipu Street.
Closed to all traffic on Brolga Street from Chulungra to
Dukamurra Street.
Alternative route: Gyrica Street onto Boonkai Street onto
Dukamurra or Chipu Street.
Detour signage will be erected during the above
mentioned times.

Council has allocated $250,000 in the 2023/2024 budget for a further Wild Dog Exclusion Fence Subsidy Program and invites all eligible landholders within the Quilpie Shire to submit an application for subsidy funding, up to $3,000 per kilometre of exclusion fencing. Please note all mandatory requirements and criteria outlined within the Letter of Application must be met to be eligible.
