Quilpie Shire Council employs a Health Promotions Officer who co-ordinates a range of regular activities for Community members.
After school craft activities every Monday at the Quilpie Shire Library from 3:30pm – 4:30pm for schooled aged children during the school term.
After school fun activities for 10-16 year old every Wednesday at the CWA Hall from 3:15pm-5:00pm during the school term.
School holiday and special events are also arranged and advertised.
A full program of community and aged care activities are held in Quilpie each week.

Quilpie Men’s Group meets once a month. The next Men’s Group is scheduled for a date to be advised.
The Quilpie Library has a wide range of activities and events for the public – from computer lessons to children’s arts / crafts and the popular Rattle n Rhyme for the very young.
