Whether you’ve got your application lodged or you’ve just heard about the EFRG program, tell your neighbours and mates! Quick facts:

• Landowners from Balonne, Bulloo, Murweh, Paroo and Quilpie can apply for up to $500,000 in assistance to repair and/or replace exclusion fencing damaged in the 2025 Western Queensland floods.

• It’s easy to start the process. Send an Expression of Interest email to EFRG@quilpie.qld.gov.au by 30 June 2026. Project Officers are ready to assist you.

This program is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).  

While the deadline for full applications has been extended to 31 July 2026, we strongly encourage applicants who have already commenced the EOI and application process to lodge as soon as possible.

Project officers are available to support you in lodging your application so you can receive funding sooner to repair and/or replace damaged exclusion fencing.

Key dates:

• 30 June 2026 – Expressions of Interest close
• 31 July 2026 – Full applications close
