Due to the Australian Government implementing further restrictions, in addition to the previously closed facilities, Council now advises that the following are closed:

Bi-Centennial Park
Skate Park & Exercise Equipment

This also includes the new multipurpose court in Eromanga.

Please note, this closure is effective immediately and will remain in place until further notice.

Due to heavy rain, the Adavale-Charleville Road is closed to all traffic (effective 9.30am Wednesday 01 April 2020)

The Quilpie-Thargomindah Road has reopened to all vechicles however a few other roads remain closed or restricted.

Due to COVID-19 and required closure of non-essential businesses, activities or undertakings, Council is closing all Council managed camping grounds and bush camping sites in Quilpie, Eromanga, Adavale and Toompine.
This includes free camping sites.
This closure is effective immediately and will remain in effect until further notice.

Please be advised that as at 3.15pm Friday 27 March, the Quilpie-Thargomindah Road is closed at South Comongin (0.4m).

Humeburn, Onion creek, Old Charleville and Cheepie-Adavale roads closed due to weather. Cheepie Adavale road has extreme damage and Adavale Black Road is also closed.

Good morning, we have an updated road report issued at 8.30am, Wednesday 25 March. The Adavale-Charleville, Adavale (Black) and Humeburn Roads are closed. Trinidad Road is restricted to 4WD only.
