Queensland Mental Health Week (QMHW) is an annual event that aims to improve community awareness and interest in mental health and wellbeing across the state.
The event is linked to National Mental Health Week and World Mental Health Day, held annually on 10 October. Queensland Mental Health Week is an opportunity to bring communities together, reach out to those who need support, and shine a spotlight on the things we can all do to support mental health.
TAKE TIME – FOR MENTAL HEALTH
This year’s theme is Take time — for mental health
Take time is about taking a moment to do some of the simple things anyone can do to boost their mental wellbeing.
Let’s take time for mental health together — at home, at school, at work, and at play.
