$30.69 per hour to $34.10 per hour, plus superannuation and allowances

Are you passionate about our Shire and enjoy promoting our attractions to visitors to the region? If you enjoy interacting with people and you are seeking a part-time role during with seasonal hours reflecting the peak visitor season of March through October, then this could be the job for you!
Council is seeking self-motivated and dedicated person to work within the Visitor Information Centre team to contribute to the effective operation of the Centre, Museum and Gallery. The successful applicant must possess a high level of verbal communication skills and be able to provide excellent customer service to visitors to our Shire.
The part-time roles hours are reflective of the seasonal work and the minimum guaranteed hours are detailed below throughout the season.

Within reason, Council is willing to negotiate days of work and hours with the successful applicant however please note that this position will include weekend and evening work to facilitate Centre opening hours and night shows.

Mandatory Requirements
- Highly developed communication and organisational skills;
- Highly developed time management skills;
- Demonstrated experience in customer service in providing accurate and timely advice;
- Current Qld ‘C’ Class Drivers licence; and
- Current holder of a Suitability Card – Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian, or willing to obtain.
