Quilpie Shire Council, located in South West Qld, are seeking a Manager Governance & Compliance to join the Senior Management team to deliver Council’s vision as aligned to the strategic plan for Council, community and the Shire.

Reporting to the CEO, the Manager Governance & Compliance will responsibly advise, lead and coordinate Councils’ governance and risk management functions, as well as the administration of Councils’ building and planning services. This role acts as the custodian of Council’s overall corporate governance framework, policies and process to ensure high levels of performance and compliance. This is a key senior management role at Council and the successful candidate will be a critical and integrated part of the organisation.

The Council is well-regarded and the Mayor and Council are open-minded, willing to explore new ideas and initiatives, and have a professional working relationship with the Shire’s Senior Management Team.
