Important Information for Livestock Owners
Following the commencement of the Biosecurity Act 2014, if you are the owner of 1 or more livestock i.e. cattle, sheep, goats, pigs or horses; or 100 or more designated birds; or 1 or more beehives you must register to become a Registrable Biosecurity Entity.
Registration forms are available for collection at Councils Customer Service Centre, 50 Brolga St Quilpie or online at https://www.daf.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0008/377819/RBE-02-Registrable-biosecurity-entity-RBE-application-designated-animal-Fillable.pdf
Even if you do not own land i.e. you own horses or cattle that are kept on a town common or you agist stock on other land you are required to make an application to be a Registrable Biosecurity Entity.
