This year Council is offering a free tree to those who pay their rates in full by the due date. The two (2) tree options this year are Callistemon and Melaleuca Lucadendron. Ratepayers will once again be able to select which tree type they prefer, however as options are limited it will be a case of ‘first in best dressed’.
Following payment of your rates you can collect a voucher at the administration office. Trees will be available for collection and the Council Depot at 12.30pm or 2.00pm on Tuesdays.
Rates are levied on properties to help finance the provision of Council services throughout the Shire.
