Quilpie Shire Council has developed the home owners grant to help new and existing residents to get their new home sooner. It is intended to augment but not replace the support to home buyers offered by other levels of government.
This grant offers up to $20,000 towards building your new home (Class 1a dwelling valued at less than $750,000) and is paid per new home, not to each applicant for the same home. The grant applies to all township areas across Quilpie Shire – Adavale, Eromanga, Cheepie, Quilpie and Toompine. For more information about Council’s New Home Owner Grant Policy and Application Forms please click on the links below:
