Many residents continue to take our water supply for granted by running a hot water hose into stormwater drains, down the sink, or into gutters in an effort to have constant hot water. This practice not only wastes water, it causes the sewerage treatment plant to work inefficiently, provides for a constantly wet gutter that looks unsightly and is careless.
Watering your lawn for 10 – 20mins before you take a shower or wash up will allow sufficient time in most cases to heat the water. Your consideration of the above and co-operation to ensure water is not wasted is appreciated.
